Turn the shirt inside out and pin the bottom hem together with the straight pins. Line it up as even as possible, but do not worry too much as this seam will be inside the bag. You want to finish quickly and start filling your bag with tanning supplies.

If you are hand sewing the seam, double knot the thread and sew small stitches as evenly as you are able. You do not want your tanning supplies to rip the seam.
